Fabio Savoldi: "Contemporary Universe"

When you think about pastel painting chips you have to think to the art of the Italian conceptual artist Fabio Savoldi.
With his series of “Cerini”, in which all his conceptual art is expressed, Savoldi enchants everybody who looks at his works. This is what happened to me yesterday evening when I went to "galleria Studio D’ars" to see his exhibition.
The idea of jumping into the space to discover that ordered life doesn’t exist anymore, the matter dissection and the color can be the starting point to see life in its different ways. Coloured matter, alternative geometric forms: square, rectangular, elliptic, moons, galaxies, lights; all to show  how Man is free around the Universe.

If you want to feel like trapped in the perpetual and harmonious chaos of  "cerini" try to visit this amazing exhibition ( Milan 8th-28th May: Studio D’Ars via Sant’Agnese 12/8 )

International Workers' Day : May 1

For the celebration of the International Workers' Day
May 1

100 Dreams -  Workplace deaths
One hundred anonymous empty overalls, filled out by the wind making bodies stand erect, but unlike hope's colours in the work of Pellizza da Volpedo. So that the absence of those, who have died at work or because of work lost, are here present more real and more alive. So that at least silence can break throught the wall of indifference to the pain of others.

Stuart Semple: Everlasting Nothing Less

After  four  years  the inventive British artist Stuart Semple  comes back to Milan with his new  exhibition in galleria “Uno + Uno”: Everlasting Nothing Less.

The project:
This series of works reconceptualises multiple fragments of cultural detritus, synergizing the profane and commodifed to create  new signification. Beyond the surface beauty, the reproduced image can offer society cultural symbols, badges of identity and a shared common language that can be utilized to create universal communication.

My opinion: AMAZING!!!

Yesterday I went to Marina Abramović’ art exhibition in Milan. She is a
famous serb performance artist who uses the power of her body to communicate  Art,creating a direct connection with three elements: time, space and emotion.
Her art is incredible: everything is surrounded by magnetic forces which have the ability to carry you in a parallel dimension thanks to “The Abramovic method” that is interactive.

I show you some pictures I took at the Pac in Milano.
